Neither the owner of the merchandise being sold at the auction, the auctioneer or any person for or on the behalf of either of them, shall, after the sale commences, replenish the stock or merchandise or add to it by shipping in or acquiring by any other means, new or additional merchandise, goods or wares and sell the merchandise at the auction.
