After the hearing on the petition which shall be conducted in accordance with I.C. 5-14-1.5-1 and I.C. 36-7-3-13, as amended, the Council may, by ordinance, vacate the public way or public place. The Clerk of the Council shall furnish a copy of each vacation ordinance to the County Recorder for recording and to the County Auditor.
