§ 94.086 BURGLAR ALARM SYSTEMS.
   (A)   A privately owned and installed burglar alarm system at which an alarm may be received and electronically conveyed to the Communication Center may be connected to the Communication Center if, and only if, the connection to the central alarm system of the city is approved by the Fire Department and Police Department of the city.
   (B)   The city will furnish the console space in the Communication Center for the purpose of connecting the private alarm system to the city’s system. The city will also provide the electricity for the operation of the alarm system within the Communication Center. No other labor or materials will be provided by the city for the burglar alarm systems.
   (C)   (1)   The city will be responsible for monitoring the burglar alarm systems connected to the central system within the Communication Center.
      (2)   This includes phoning the location with a code any time the alarm activates, and dispatching a city or county police car, depending upon the location.
      (3)   The city alarm operators will assist the private businesses that are connected to the central alarm system in conducting tests of the private alarm systems at least once a month.
