§ 94.063  BUREAU OF FIRE PREVENTION ESTABLISHED.
   The Bureau of Fire Prevention of the Fire Department of the city is hereby established and hereinafter referred to as the “Bureau.”  The Bureau shall operate and exist under the direct supervision and control of the Chief of the Fire Department.  The Bureau shall be composed of 5 members, 1 of whom shall be named Chief of the Bureau of Fire Prevention, and all shall be appointed by the Chief of the Fire Department with the approval of the Board of Public Works and Safety of the city.  The members of the Bureau shall serve until their successors are duly appointed and qualified.  The Chief and members of the Fire Prevention Bureau shall have the powers of a police officer in performing their duties under this Code.
