§ 31.035 CREATION OF DEPARTMENT.
   There is established as an executive department of the city, a Department of Community Development.

§ 31.036 FUNCTION OF DEPARTMENT.
   The function per day and responsibility of the Department of Community Development shall be the creation of a comprehensive community development plan within the guidelines of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended, being 42 USC 5301 et seq.; the securing of any and all available funds for the furtherance of the plan; and the administration of the plan, in cooperation with the other departments of the city.
