(A) The remains of persons who have died of contagious diseases cannot be permitted to be placed in the vault.
(B) The city reserves the right to refuse the deposit of any bodies in the vault during extremely warm weather or during the prevalence of epidemics.
(C) (1) From May 1 to November 1 the use of the vault is restricted to 3 days, unless the time is extended by special permission of the Board of Public Works.
(2) During the balance of the year, if in a good state of preservation, the remains can be left until May 1, provided the charges are paid monthly in advance.
(D) (1) When the remains of any person are taken to the cemetery without a permit, the Sexton is required to receive them into the vault or allow them upon the grounds only upon the condition that the usual charges are deposited with him or her, together with the proper statistics of the deceased.
(2) Adjustment of charges must be made immediately afterward by the depositor.
(E) In all cases when a body is to be deposited in the receiving vault a permit, as in other cases of burial, must be obtained, together with a permit from the proper health officer and the charges paid.
(F) Visiting and viewing remains in the receiving vault are not advisable and persons wishing to do so shall obtain a permit from the Sexton.
