City police officers, other city employees designated by the Police Chief, Code Enforcement Officers designated by the city’s Building Commissioner and Park Department employees designated by the city’s Parks Superintendent are authorized and empowered to, on behalf of the city, issue tickets (citations) and take any other lawful civil procedural action to prosecute violations of this chapter or violations of any parking restrictions contained in any other city ordinance(s).
