For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
SNOW. Any precipitation depositing any accumulation on the streets, including snow, sleet, hail, ice and freezing rain.
SNOW REMOVAL COORDINATOR. The Mayor of the city or the person or agents of the person designated by the Mayor.
SNOW REMOVAL CONDITIONS. A state of street conditions that are hazardous and dangerous to vehicular and pedestrian traffic due to severe winter conditions when and so declared by the Snow Removal Coordinator.
SNOW ROUTES. All streets in the city so designated by the Council and marked by appropriate signs.
VEHICLES. All self-propelled motorized vehicles.
