The permanent replacement or repair of a street shall be in accordance with the requirements of the City Engineer. All materials used shall be only those approved by the City Engineer and shall be the same as the existing material. Unless otherwise directed or approved by the City Engineer, all replacements shall meet the minimum requirements as set forth in the City of Elkhart's Standard Specifications for Construction, as amended.
