(A) The Advisory Board shall advise the Board of Public Works of any potential gifts, donations, grants, acquisitions and subsidies for museum purposes. However, a gift or transfer of property to the museum may not be made without the approval of the Board of Public Works. The City Controller may invest any donated funds in secure portfolios.
(B) A gift or grant of money shall be deposited in a special non-reverting fund to be available for expenditure by the Board of Public Works for purposes specified by the grantor.
