§ 36.118 TERMS OF OFFICE; VACANCIES; AGE REQUIREMENT; REIMBURSEMENT FOR EXPENSES.
   (A)   The appointed members shall serve 3 year terms from and after the date of their appointment and until their successors are appointed and have qualified. In order to create staggered terms, the members shall be appointed as follows:
      (1)   A 1-year term to be served by 1 Lake Shore appointee.
      (2)   A 2-year term to be served by each of the City Council appointees.
      (3)   A 3-year term to be served by the mayoral appointee and 1 Lake Shore appointee.
   (B)   If a vacancy occurs, a successor shall be appointed in the same manner as the original member, and the successor shall serve for the remainder of the vacated term.
   (C)   A member must be at least 18 years of age.
   (D)   If a member ceases to be qualified under this section he or she shall forfeit his or her office.
   (E)   Members are not entitled to salaries but are eligible for reimbursement for expenses necessarily incurred in the performance of their duties subject to approval by the Board of Public Works.
