The members of the Energy Conservation Commission shall serve 3-year terms as members; however, the first Commission shall have 1/3 of its membership appointed for a 3-year term, 1/3 of its membership appointed for a 2-year term and 1/3 appointed for a 1-year term. The first Commission shall have 1 member selected by the Mayor for each of the 1, 2 and 3-year terms, and the Council shall select 2 members for each of the 1, 2 and 3-year terms.
