§ 36.056  JURISDICTION AND AUTHORITY.
   The Plan Commission is vested with the following jurisdiction and authority:
   (A)   To receive from the City Clerk, copies of all pertinent proposed ordinances for the amendment, supplement, change or repeal of the Zoning Code;
   (B)   To consider such proposed ordinances referred to it and to hold public hearings thereon in  the manner prescribed in I.C. 36-7-4-200 et seq.;
   (C)   Following public hearings, to submit to the Council a report and recommendations on each such proposed ordinance for the amendment, supplement, change or repeal of the Zoning Code;
   (D)   On its own initiative, to petition the Council requesting an amendment, supplement change, or repeal of the Zoning Code provided that it has held public hearings thereon in the manner prescribed in I.C. 36-7-4-200 et seq.; and
   (E)   To initiate, from time to time, a comprehensive review of the provisions of the Zoning Code and to make a report of its findings and recommendations to the Council at least once every 2 years.
