§ 36.015 CREATION.
   There is hereby established a Traffic Commission to serve without compensation, consisting of the Mayor, or his or her designee; the Corporation Counsel or his or her designee; the Chief of Police, or his or her designee; the City Engineer, or his or her designee; the Planning Director, or his or her designee; the head of the Traffic Division of the Public Works Department; and a member to be chosen by the Council from the Council. The city’s Parks Department Forester and an employee of the city’s Department of Public Works shall serve as non-voting technical liaisons to the Traffic Commission and will advise the Commission with regard to tree lawns and traffic signal matters. The first meeting of each year, the Traffic Commission shall elect a Chairperson from among the voting members.
