The proceeds of the Noise Ordinance Special Fund shall be used by the Police Department for signs, literature, advertising or promotions, designed to inform the public about the noise ordinance and its applications; purchase or replacement of equipment; labor and costs associated with increased enforcement efforts or any task force formed to combat noise issues; and other similar measures designed to reduce noise pollution within the city.
