§ 157.036  FEES FOR PERMITS AND INSPECTIONS.
   Before any permit is granted for the installation or alteration of electrical equipment, the person, firm or corporation making application for the permit shall pay a fee of $25, hereafter referred to as a minimum permit fee, or an amount derived from the following fee schedule, whichever is the higher amount.
   (A)   Electric service entrance equipment, single phase or 3 phase:
      (1)   Up to and including 100 amperes:  $35.
      (2)   Over 100 amperes, up to and including 200 amperes:  $40.
      (3)   Over 200 amperes, up to and including 400 amperes:  $50.
      (4)   Over 400 amperes, up to and including 800 amperes:  $100.
      (5)   Over 800 amperes, up to and including 2,000 amperes:  $200.
      (6)   Over 2,000 amperes:  $400.
      (7)   Temporary service of any size:  $25.
      (8)   Service hook up for a manufactured housing unit located in an existing mobile home park, up to and including 200 amperes:  $25.
      (9)   Feeders and sub-feeder shall be $25 for each 100 amperes with a maximum of $50 for each sub-feed.
   (B)   (1)   If any person, firm, or corporation shall do any work covered by this chapter requiring a permit without first obtaining the permit, a penalty fee of $50 shall be charged in addition to the regular amount of the permit.
      (2)   Payment of the penalty shall not release them from other penalties provided for in this chapter and each day the violation exists shall be deemed a separate offense.
   (C)   It shall be a violation of this chapter for any licensee to secure a permit to do electrical work if he or she does not intend to perform or inspect and supervise the performance of the work.
   (D)   (1)   Permit fees for electrical work done on municipal property for the municipality and/or its authorized agencies may be waived.
      (2)   Permits must be obtained for the work by the license holder and the value of the waived fee noted on the permit.
   (E)   For each unnecessary trip of the inspection caused by defective work or incorrect information, a charge of $25 will be made in addition to the regular fees.
   (F)   After due notification, failure to pay fees as set forth in this chapter shall be grounds for the Board to suspend an electrical license until such time as all outstanding fines and fees are paid.
