Property owners will be charged based on their front footage along the street where the curb and gutter are to be constructed. In areas where a new curb and gutter are being installed, this shall be assessed to the property owner at 75% of the annual street material bid amount as approved by public bidding by the Board of Public Works. In instances where existing broken or dilapidated curbing needs to be removed and replaced with a new curb and gutter, the charge shall be 75% of the annual street materials bid amount as approved by public bidding by the Board of Public Works. These items will be added to the annual street materials bid as unit price installed work.
