§ 153.31  INSPECTION ASSISTANCE.
   (A)   The Chief of the Fire Department, or his or her designated representative, shall assist the Building Commissioner, when requested.
   (B)   In the event that, in the estimation of the Building Commissioner, special inspections by third- party experts are necessary, the Building Commissioner may require additional special inspections to ascertain compliance with the provision of this code and any other ordinance enforced by the Building Department.  The owner, permit holder or any other person acting as the owner’s agent shall employ one or more special inspectors to perform said inspections and to report to the building commissioner the results of the inspections.  The special inspector shall be a qualified person who shall demonstrate competence to the satisfaction of the Building Commissioner.  The inspections shall be made at the expense of the permittee.
   (C)   Approval as a result of an inspection shall not be construed to be an approval of a violation of the provisions of this code or of any other ordinances of the city.
