Following the expiration of the statutory time for appeal of the primary approval, a request for final plat approval may be granted by the Plat Committee.
(A) A drawing, in a form approved by the County Recorder, shall be submitted to the Plan Commission staff. (See § 152.066 for drawing requirements.)
(B) (1) The Plat Committee shall act on the final plat request within 30 days of receipt.
(2) If in compliance with all requirements of this chapter and all conditions attached at the time of primary approval, the Plat Committee shall approve the plat and the Plat Committee Chairperson shall sign the plat.
(C) An approved plat shall be recorded with the County Recorder within 3 months. If not recorded within this time, the approval is null and void. All recording costs are the responsibility of the subdivider.
(D) Following recording, 2 copies of the plat shall be filed and retained in the city’s Engineering Department and one copy in the city’s Planning and Development Department.
(E) In the event the plat is not in compliance, the Plan Commission staff shall notify the applicant in writing the reasons for noncompliance and the requirements necessary for final plat approval.
