(A) The Board of Public Works and Safety and the Fire Department are authorized to establish, operate and maintain emergency medical service, to authorize, franchise or contract for emergency medical services, to establish appropriate ambulance fees for emergency services provided by the city, and to take any other actions authorized by I.C. 16-31-5.
(B) Any funds so collected by the Board of Public Works and Safety shall be deposited into the Emergency Medical Services Fund.
