§ 33.038  PUBLIC HEARING; NOTICE.
   (A)   The Council has fixed May 1, 1978, at 7:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time as the date and time when the Council will, in the Council Chambers, consider and determine to levy the tax, and the taxpayers of the city shall then and there have the right to be heard.
   (B)   The Council directs the City Clerk, after introduction of this levy and before it is finally enacted, to give 10 days’ notice by publication and by posting the notice in 3 public places in the city in accordance with the provisions of § 2, Chapter 299, Acts of 1951.  The notice shall set forth the text of this levy which will include the proposed tax rate, the year or years for which it is to be levied, and its purpose.
