§ 33.018  PUBLIC HEARING; NOTICE.
   (A)   The  Council has fixed August 21, 1989, at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time as the date and time when the Council shall, in the Council chambers, consider and determine to levy this tax, and the taxpayers of the city shall then and there have the right to be heard.
   (B)   The Council directs the City Clerk, after introduction of this levy and before it is finally enacted, to give 10 days’ notice by publication and by posting the notice in 3 public places in the city, in accordance with the provisions of I.C. 5-3-1.  The notice shall set forth the text of the levy and will include the proposed tax rate, the year or years for which it is to be levied, and its purpose.
