§ 35.36 ABSENCE FROM CITY EMPLOYMENT.
   If a member of the Police Department or the Fire Department who has served past the one year probationary period should leave city employment, he or she may be rehired by the same department, with the permission of the Mayor, within one year from his or her last date of employment without competitive examination; provided, however, that, said reemployment shall be at the entry level position.
