(A) Any person having formal business before the Commission may, by written request, petition the Chairperson of the Commission for a meeting which shall, at the discretion of the Chairperson, be granted within ten days from the date request is received.
(B) Said petition shall identify the name and address of the petitioner, and shall state the nature of the business to be brought before the Commission. If the Commission deems the business to be of sufficient public importance, a public notice of same shall be published in two consecutive issues of a local newspaper.
