The Chief of Police and members of the city’s Police Department, when executing warrants of arrest, processes, subpoenas and attachment for witnesses and other duties as prescribed by law, and are due a fee for same, the same shall be paid into the city treasury or General Fund, it appearing that the Chief of Police and members of the city’s Police Department are employed on salaries.
