The city’s Inspections Department has the duty in furtherance of this chapter to:
(A) Make all necessary inspections to ensure compliance with this chapter;
(B) Issue or deny certificates of compliance;
(C) Issue or deny certificates of occupancy;
(D) Issue stop-work orders or orders to correct violations;
(E) Maintain adequate records of permits issued or denied, inspections made, corrections ordered and certificates issued; and
(F) Take other actions that may be required to adequately enforce this chapter.
