(A) The North Carolina Building Codes, as adopted from time to time and as published by the North Carolina Building Code Council, are hereby adopted by reference as fully as though set forth herein.
(B) The state’s Building Code and the fire resistance ratings as adopted by the state’s Building Code Council and as amended, is hereby adopted by reference as fully as though set forth herein as the building code of the city to the extent such code is applicable for safe and stable design, methods of construction, minimum standards and use of materials in buildings or structures hereafter erected, enlarged, altered, repaired or otherwise constructed or reconstructed.
