The City Clerk shall attend all meetings of the City Council, unless excused, and shall keep the minutes thereof. He or she shall further perform such other duties and keep such other records as may be required by law or prescribed by the City Council with the assistance of a deputy and such clerical assistance as may be deemed necessary by the City Manager and City Council.
