Any one or all of the following procedures, among others, may be used by the city to enforce the provisions of this chapter.
(A) Injunction. Any violation of this chapter or any condition, order, or requirement adopted pursuant hereto may be restrained, corrected, abated, mandated or enjoined by appropriate proceeding pursuant to state law.
(B) Civil penalties. Any person who violates any provisions of this chapter shall be subject to assessment of civil penalties in the amount of $10 per day, with each day that such violation continues to be considered a separate violation subjecting the violator to a separate, additional civil penalty. If the civil penalty imposed is not paid within 30 days of its being imposed, the violator may be subject to criminal prosecution under G.S. § 14-4.
