§ 70.03  APPLICATION OF TRAFFIC CODE TO GOVERNMENT VEHICLES.
   The provisions of this traffic code shall apply to the driver of any vehicle owned by any governmental unit or operated for any governmental unit and shall be unlawful for any said driver to violate any of the provisions of this traffic code, except as otherwise permitted in this traffic code or by state statute.
