A list of signs that do not require the issuance of a sign permit is located in the sign review guidelines. All signs, including signs not requiring a permit, shall conform to City Code.
(A) Changeable electronic variable message signs (CEVMS) are exempt from the CSP if they abide by the following information:
(1) They are being used to replace a current sign;
(2) The dimensions of the CEVMS are not larger than that of the sign that they are replacing; and
(3) The existing sign was already approved by the city Planning and Zoning Board through the CSP process.
