§ 50.02 PURPOSE AND INTENT.
   The purpose of this chapter is to provide for the collection of delinquent utility charges. Any person, firm or corporation failing to make timely payments of any utility charges may subject his, her, or its property to a lien for the full amount of the utility charge, plus interest, as established by New Mexico law and this chapter.
