§ 155.008  AMENDMENTS TO THIS CODE.
   (A)   Amendments.  Proposed amendments must be reviewed by the Planning and Zoning Commission, which shall make recommendations to the governing body. Recommendations for amendments to this code must be approved by a majority vote of the Planning and Zoning Commission.
   (B)   Public hearing required.  Before taking action on any proposed changes to this code, the governing body must conduct a public hearing. Notice of the time and location of the public hearing shall be given 15 days before the date of the hearing by posting the notice in the same locations as designated in the current Open Meetings Act Resolution, as designated in the Open Meetings Act Resolution adopted each year by the Planning and Zoning Commission.
   (C)   Adoption.  Amendments to the code must be approved by a majority vote of the governing body.
