Ballot positions are determined by a required drawing for ballot position for an office whenever more than one candidate has filed. State law sets the drawing on "the fourth Tuesday after the close of candidate filing". The Town of Eleanor shall mark the drawing date on the back of the candidate filing form and to notify candidates of the drawing date. Once the drawing has been held, the ballot commissioners should meet to certify the ballot before it goes to the printer.
