357.03  OPERATION REGULATIONS.
   (a)   Those persons who are at least sixteen (16) years old may drive a motorized cart on the streets and those areas accessible by the public within the Town of Eleanor.
   (b)   All operators shall abide by all traffic regulations applicable to vehicular traffic when using the streets and those areas accessible by the public within the town.
   (c)   Pedestrians have the right of way. All golf carts must yield to pedestrians and bicycles.
   (d)   Golf cart operators are required to follow all standard motor vehicle laws and town
ordinances.
   (e)   No motorized cart is to be driven on any town street where the speed limit is greater than 25 mph or any town street that the Mayor and Council or Police Chief deem to be unsafe.
   (f)   Motorized carts may be operated on those authorized streets and those areas accessible by the public within the town only between sunrise and within 1/2 hour after dusk.
   (g)   It shall be unlawful for the owner of any motorized cart or any other person operating, employing, permitting the use or otherwise directing the use of such cart to operate or permit the operator of such cart to drive over the authorized streets or those areas accessible by the public in the town in violation of this article.
   (h)   The driver and passengers must be properly seated at all times when the golf cart is in motion. Do not exceed the number of passengers for which the golf cart is designed.
