(a) The Board shall consist of five members one of which shall be the Mayor, two members shall serve for a term of two years and two members shall serve for a term of three years and all vacancies shall be filled by appointment for the unexpired term and appointment of successors shall be made by Town Council.
(b) The Board shall hold not less than one regular meeting a month. Regular meeting of the Board shall be the first Thursday of each month. (Ord. 86-1. Passed 12-18-86.)
(c) The Mayor shall act as Chairman of the Water Board, and upon organization of said Board they shall meet and elect a vice chairman and also designate a secretary and treasurer, who may be separate persons or one in the same, and Council hereby reserves the right and privilege from time to time, by ordinance to fix the compensation of the members of said Board and the secretary and treasurer thereof, and also to require and fix the amount of bond which any or all of said officials may be required to furnish.
(d) All compensation and all expense, incurred by the Water Board, its officers and employees, shall be paid solely from funds authorized to be collected and received by the Board as provided by Chapter 8, Articles 13 and 19 of the West Virginia Code, as amended.
