(a) In addition to the requirements of the Building Code as contained in Article 1721 every sign and billboard allowable under this article shall be constructed of durable materials, kept in good condition and repair, and not allowed to become dilapidated. Each sign and billboard shall be removed at the expense of the owner when the circumstances leading to its erection no longer apply.
(b) In addition to the other requirements of this article, no sign or billboard or other advertising displays shall be permitted except those specifically pertaining to the use of the property on which they are located. (Ord. 97-7. Passed 9-18-97.)
