(a) It shall be the duty of the Building Inspector to administer and enforce the provisions of this article, except as otherwise expressly provided in this article.
(b) It shall be the duty of the Building Inspector to:
(1) Review the building permit applications as necessary to determine compliance with the provisions of this article.
(2) Conduct investigations as necessary to determine compliance with or violation of this article.
(3) Provide written information on building permits upon request by citizens and public agencies.
