(A) Evacuation or transportation of people. The E.O.C. will secure the necessary buses. Evacuation and transportation will be conducted by the Police Department. Once secured, the buses will be under Police Department control. Whenever possible, mass transportation (buses) will be used by individuals.
(B) Transportation of material. The E.O.C. will secure the necessary vehicles. Thereafter, the vehicles will be assigned to the agency needing the transportation.
(C) Pets. Pets will not be evacuated to evacuation shelters. Civil defense personnel will be assigned to locate and secure pets as quickly as possible after the immediate emergency has passed, all human needs cared for and it is safe to do so.
