§ 1.00 CITY BASE.

   The official city base or datum plane of reference is hereby fixed at a point 784.96 feet above sea level, according the U.S.C. & G. Monument (H-70, 1943) located east of railroad by and north of LeClaire Road at First Street and LeClaire Road, that the U.S.C. & G. elevation equals 793.21 which equals 784.96 in the city datum.
