A business license may be revoked by the Mayor if, in his or her judgment, any business conducted or to be conducted under and by virtue of a license is or will be detrimental to the public health or morals or liable to lead to the violation of any ordinance or law, or provoke a breach of the peace, or if any licensee or any of his or her agents makes any false or misleading statements or representations in the furtherance of the business conducted under said license or violates any ordinance or law in the conduct of the business for which such license is issued.
