§ 2.00 POWERS AND DUTIES.
   The Council and Mayor and other City officers have such powers and shall perform such duties as are authorized or required by State law and by this Code, resolutions, rules, and regulations of the City of Eldridge, Iowa.
§ 2.01. The nomination process for the offices of Mayor and City Council shall follow the procedure set forth in Iowa Code Chapter 45.1(8a). Elections for these offices shall be governed by the provisions of Iowa Code Chapter 376.6(2).
