The city will check PCC pavement surfaces with a ten foot straightedge placed parallel to the center line. Areas showing high spots of more than one-fourths of an inch in ten feet will be marked. Complete surface corrections according to the procedures in IDOT § 2316 to an elevation where the area or spot will not show surface deviations in excess of one-eighths inch when tested with a ten foot straightedge. Surface corrections will be completed at the direction of the city with no additional cost to the city.
