(A) When a batch plant is to be used to mix the concrete, the contractor shall obtain written approval from the engineer for the weighting equipment, water measuring equipment, type of mixer and method of mixing.
(B) All concrete shall be ready mixed concrete and be mixed and delivered to the site in accordance with ASTM Specification C-94, unless otherwise approved by the engineer prior to the letting.
