§ 6.00 DEFINITIONS.

   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.

§ 6.01.   PARKING. Includes that part of the street or avenue or highway in the city not covered by sidewalk and lying between the lot line and the curb lines; or, on unpaved streets, that part of the street, avenue or highway lying between the lot line and that portion of the street usually traveled by vehicular traffic.

§ 6.02.   PERSON. Includes any individual, firm, corporation, trust, association or any other organized group.

§ 6.03.   PROPERTY OWNER. Includes a person owning private property in Eldridge, Iowa.

§ 6.04.   PUBLIC PROPERTY. Includes any and all property located within the confines of the city and owned by the city or held in the name of the city by any of the department, commissions or agencies within the city government.

§ 6.05.   STREET. Includes the entire width between property lines of avenues or highways.

§ 6.06.   STREET TREE. Includes any tree planted between the property lines of streets or highways.
