No property owner or occupancy of any property which is connected to the city’s sanitary sewer system shall knowingly allow storm water to enter the sanitary sewer system by means of any part of the sewers or drains which are a part of any structure or lot in said city. Specifically prohibited are connections leading to the sanitary sewers from any sump pump or footing or other sub-drains, as defined in the State Plumbing Code (1973), Chapter 13, “Storm Drains”.
