Upon getting an application, the City Administrator will send a notification letter to all abutting property owner(s) which advise the abutting property owner(s) the applicant is applying for a permit from the City of Elbow Lake for the keeping of chickens on their premises. The abutting property owner may object to the applicant's permit application. Any objections must be received by the City Administrator within ten days of the mailing date of said notice. Failure to provide written objections with good reason within those ten days will authorize the issuance of a permit for the keeping of chickens to the applicant at their premises.
