(a) The Fiscal Officer is hereby selected as the default statutory designee as contemplated by Ohio R.C. 149.43 to attend any necessary training on behalf of all applicable elected officials.
(b) The Fiscal Officer shall be deemed such statutory designee for all present elected officials and all future elected officials unless an elected official chooses another designee.
(c) Any elected official that chooses to have someone other than the Fiscal Officer act as a statutory designee pursuant to Ohio R.C. 149.43(E) shall notify the Fiscal Officer in writing, in which case, the Fiscal Officer shall not act as the elected official’s designee until such time as the elected official subsequently requests, in writing, that the Fiscal Officer act as the elected official’s designee.
