(a) All sidewalks shall have a minimum width of not less than four feet. Where the existing width of walks is greater than four feet, all newly constructed walks must be of the same width as the existing walk unless permission is granted by Council to construct otherwise. Where a width of greater than four feet for walks has been established, even though there are no walks in, all new construction must be to the greater width.
(b) The construction and repair of all sidewalks shall be done under the supervision of Council.
(c) Village specifications for the construction or repair of sidewalks must be strictly adhered to by the permittee. Copies of the specifications are available at the office of the Fiscal Officer.
