(a) It is hereby declared that no owner or tenant of real property within the Village shall be allowed to own or harbor, or have charge of more than five dogs and/or cats in any combination at any one time, in excess of three months of age, whether it be for business or personal purpose unless granted a permit pursuant to Section 505.18.
(b) For purpose of this section, determination of the number of dogs and cats within the owner's household shall include all dogs and cats kept at any property locations within the Village that may be owned or used by any household member.
(c) Whoever violates this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree. Such violation shall constitute a nuisance subject to abatement in the manner provided for by the Ohio Revised Code or the Codified Ordinances of the Village of Edon.
